Created in January 2026, this installation combines two frontal screens with trapezoidal surrounding walls. All light in the space is produced with moving images and projectors.

Images projected onto the backs of the screens are reflected onto the walls behind them. A method first developed to recreate lighting inside a model is expanded to full scale as environmental light with the qualities of a moving image.

Changing the brightness and spread of the front images and background light makes a fixed screen appear as an opening into depth or a plane floating before a wall. The work explores spatial perception through the relationship between foreground and background light.
